Taşkın is a 28-years-old MA student in Gender Studies who holds a bachelor degree in English Language & Literature and a master degree in Advanced European & International Studies. He also has a background in the youth field as a trainer. After having worked for several years in Youth NGOs in Turkey on topics varying from intercultural dialogue to social inclusion, and given trainings within the EU Commission’s Youth (in Action) programmes using non-formal education techniques, he has transitioned into academic teaching and is currently employed as a university lecturer. His main fields of interest are: inclusion through arts and culture, gender roles (mainly masculinities), minorities, human rights and politics.
He is a member of “Boy’s Don’t Cry” Project Team.
